NOTE TO EDITORS:

Kevin Alyward, Minister of Environment and Labour, will hold a news conference at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8 at the Glynmill Inn in Corner Brook. The purpose of the news conference is to discuss the proposal from Deer Lake Power Company to build a hydro-electric facility on the Upper Humber River at Silver Mountain.
