Ministers to visit central Newfoundland companies

Beaton Tulk, Minister of Development and Rural Renewal, and Roger Grimes, Minister of Education, will visit four companies in central Newfoundland on Wednesday, July 16. They will be joined by Anna Thistle, MHA - Grand Falls - Buchans.

Mr. Tulk said the visit was organized in association with Cabinet meetings that are being held in Grand Falls-Windsor this week. He said: "There are many successful businesses in the province located outside of the capital city. I thought this would a good opportunity to visit some of the companies in central Newfoundland. Familiarizing myself and other Cabinet members with these companies is helpful when meeting with potential investors from other areas of the world and in generally marketing the province's capabilities abroad."
