Exporting for Profit Workshop to be held in Clarenville

Judy Foote, Minister of Development and Rural Renewal, will deliver the keynote address at a luncheon at the Clarenville Inn, Clarenville at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 29.

The luncheon is part of a one-day workshop entitled "Exporting for Profit", hosted by the Department of Development and Rural Renewal, in conjunction with the Clarenville and Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bank of Nova Scotia. The workshop currently has in excess of 80 registered participants. Eight speakers from the private sector, the banking industry and government will speak on topics such as; evaluating export potential, selecting and researching foreign markets, choosing an entry strategy, and export financing. The workshop will also showcase a variety of export products from across the province.
