The following is being distributed at the request of Marine Atlantic:
Weather conditions continue to disrupt Gulf schedule
Severe wind and weather conditions continue to disrupt scheduled ferry service between North Sydney and Port aux Basques.
Both the Joseph and Clara Smallwood and the Atlantic Freighter are currently holding at Port aux Basques waiting for conditions to improve.
Passengers intending to travel tonight or Tuesday are advised to contact Marine Atlantic's toll-free reservation line for an update on departures.
