NOTE TO EDITORS:
High winds and rough seas in the Cabot Strait forced cancellation of Marine Atlantic ferry service between Port aux Basques and North Sydney yesterday and overnight.
MV Joseph and Clara Smallwood has now resumed service, but is operating off schedule. The next expected departure from North Sydney will be 2330 (11:30 p.m.) Friday. It is planned to resume the published schedule with the 1600 (4:00 p.m.) sailing from Port aux Basques on Saturday.
