Sailings delayed due to weather
Marine Atlantic's gulf ferry operations have been postponed for the remainder of Thursday, December 5 due to adverse weather conditions in the Cabot Strait.
The Joseph and Clara Smallwood is currently holding at North Sydney, and the 11:30 p.m. departure from Port aux Basques for this evening has been cancelled.
The Smallwood is tentatively scheduled to depart North Sydney at 11:30 p.m. this evening, with a departure from Port aux Basques at 9 a.m. Friday, and should resume her published schedule by Friday evening.
Travellers with reservations or plans to use the ferry service are advised to contact Marine Atlantic's toll-free reservations line for an update on departures.
