Fall schedule changes for Marine Atlantic ferry services

Marine Atlantic's seasonal Argentia service will conclude for this year with the departure of the Joseph and Clara Smallwood from Argentia on Friday, September 13.

Effective Sunday, September 15, the ferries Smallwood and Caribou will provide two round trips daily between North Sydney and Port aux Basques with departures at 11:30 a.m. and p.m.

On September 29, the fall refit schedule will commence, with the Caribou providing 10 weekly round trips between Port aux Basques and North Sydney as the Smallwood leaves the service for scheduled maintenance.

On the Labrador service, the seasonal Lewisporte-Goose Bay ferry operation concluded with the departure of the Sir Robert Bond from Goose Bay on September 8. The Bond will continue operating in a freight mode for the fall shipping season, but will have capacity for 12 passengers on each trip. Passenger arrangement can be made by calling Marine Atlantic's Lewisporte or Goose Bay terminals.
