Contract for paving three sections of Burin Peninsula Highway

John Efford, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, is pleased to announce the awarding of a contract for paving three sections, approximately 32 kilometres, of the Burin Peninsula Highway, Route 210, to Provincial Paving Ltd. of St. John's.

The contract value totals $2,983,111 and is to be completed by September 30, 1996. Provincial Paving Ltd. was the lowest of four bidders.

This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Regional Trunk Roads Agreement.
