The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:
Provincial basketball open try-outs
The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will conduct try-outs for two summer programs during the Christmas break. Try-outs will be conducted for the Juvenile Boys and Midget Boys Programs. The try-outs are open to all athletes residing east of Gander (including Gander). Camps will be conducted on the West Coast at a later date.
Both camps will be held at the Torbay Training Centre in St. John's. A registration fee of $15 will be charged on site.

Midget Boys Born in 1982 or later
Dec. 28 at 2 - 4:30 p.m. and
Dec. 29 at 9 - 11 a.m. and 1 - 3 p.m.
Juvenile Boys Born in 1980 or later
Dec. 27 at 11 - 2 p.m. and 4 - 7 p.m. and
Dec. 28 at 12 noon - 2 p.m.
