At the organization's semi-annual meeting held at the Max Simms Camp on October 5 and 6, provincial president Bill Hogan named St. John's Legend's/MUN Varsity Seahawks head coach Steve Fultz to the head coaching position, while Corinne Wright, assistant coach of the Poseidon Swim Club in Carbonear, and Gaylord Kenny, head coach of the Mount Pearl Marlins, were named to the assistant coaching positions. Team manager is Randy Ball. Selection criteria and standards were discussed and adopted in principal, pending the final draft, by representatives from eleven clubs from all over the province.
