The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:
The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association is currently accepting applications for provincial coaches for four summer programs during the 1997 season. Positions available include a boys and girls juvenile coach (under 17) and a boys and girls midget coach (under 15). All teams will participate in the Eastern Canadian Championships scheduled for Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in late July and early August. The deadline for applications is October 31, 1996. Interested coaches are asked to send their application and resume to:
