Midget Provincial Volleyball Teams to Eastern Canadian Tournament The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association's provincial midget male and female teams will be attending the Quebec Plus tournament this weekend, August 3 and 4 in Montreal. The female division will have 24 teams, while the male division will have 16 teams, the teams for the tournament will be comprised from Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

Members of the Newfoundland teams are as follows: men - Corey Buck, Adam Dawson, Bay Roberts; Shane Baker, Little Hearts Ease; Chris Rose, Harbour Breton; Warren Pardy, Topsail; Mike Pond, Port Rexton; Dustin Newhook, Chad Vivian, Hare Bay; Nathan Goodyear, Carmanville; Chris Rose, Paul Garnier, Pasadena; Blair Hann, Musgrave Harbour; and coaches Alvin Dominie and John Abbott. Women - Claudia Baggs, Amanda Dunphy and Shawna Hull, Bay D'Espoir; Penny Durdle, Bonavista; Deanne Hiscock, Bell Island; Alexendra Mackey from St.John's; Deanne McCarthy, Erin McCormack, Heather Oates, Jennifer Trask, Corner Brook; Amanda Anthony, Come By Chance;, and coaches, Karen Murphy, Eric Hiscock, and Doug Ledrew.
