June 26, 1996 (Tourism, Culture and Recreation) The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: The Mount Pearl Summer Basketball Program is sponsoring a Top 40 Basketball Camp for boys born in 1982 or later, August 19 - 23. The camp is structured to accommodate the top 40 players in this age group, from around the province, and referrals from coaches, etc. may be required before registering. Camp directors, Nash Miller and Gary Sooley will have an experienced staff of coaches and university players, that will emphasise individualized instruction, combined with games and contests.
