The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

The annual general meeting of Swimming Newfoundland and Labrador will take place in the Newman Room at the Delta Hotel and Conference Centre in St. John's, June 8 and 9. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, with workshops and open forum planning session scheduled for that day. Sunday's business meeting will include the awarding of competitions for the 1996/97 swim year and the election of a new provincial board of directors. All friends of swimming are welcome to drop by and join member clubs from across the island and Labrador as they plan for the future of competitive swimming in Newfoundland and Labrador.
