May 6, 1996 (Tourism, Culture and Recreation) The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland
and Labrador: Lakewood Academy of Glenwood will host the West Coast Midget (under 15) Girls Provincial with a total of 14 teams entered: St. James of Port aux Basque, Stephenville Integrated and St. Stephens "A" and "B" teams of Stephenville, Belanger Memorial of Doyles, Xavier of Deer Lake, Presentation, G.A. Mercer and G.C. Rowe of Corner Brook, St. Michael's and Windsor Collegiate of Grand Falls-Windsor, Leo Burke Academy of Bishop Falls, St. Paul's Integrated of Gander and the host Lakewood Academy. Holy Trinity of Torbay will host the East Coast Intermediate (under 14) Boys Provincial Championship with a total of 12 teams registered for the event. Teams entered include: MacPherson, St. Bon's and MacDonald Drive of St. John's, St. Peter's of Mount Pearl, Fogo Island, St. Lawrence, Mobile, Balbo Elementary of Shoal Harbour, Holy Family of Paradise, St. Clare's and Carbonear Integrated of Carbonear and the host team Holy Trinity. Fatima Academy of St. Bride's will host the East Coast Midget (under 15) Boys Provincial Championship with a total of 16 teams entered. Teams entered are Stella Maris of Trepassey, St. Peter's and O'Donel of Mount Pearl, MacPherson, Beaconsfield, MacDonald Drive and Eugene Vaters Collegiate of St. John's, St. Lawrence, Xavier of Long Harbour, Holy Trinity of Torbay, St. Catherine's of St. Mary's Bay, Fogo Island, Clarenville, Placentia and the host Fatima Academy.
