NOTE TO EDITORS: American Association to name Newfoundland and Labrador tourism event as
top event in Canada On Thursday, August 29, an American Tourism Association will release the top tourism events in North America for 1997. The province will participate in the American news conference via an interactive, two-way video hook-up. Premier Brian Tobin will attend the St. John's-based video news conference with Tourism, Culture and Recreation Minister Sandra Kelly, participating from Washington, D.C. Media are invited to attend the video news conference which will be held at the NewTel building on 50 Allandale Road at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 29.
