Minister tours EDGE company

On Friday, May 31, at 11:30 a.m., Chuck Furey, Minister of Industry, Trade and Technology, will participate in a tour of Lotek Marine Technologies Inc. The tour will take place at Lotek's facilities at 114 Cabot Street, St. John's.

The minister will participate in a tour of the facilities and will also witness the first shipment of locally-assembled fish tracking products that build on complementary products Industry, Trade and Technology, will participate in a tour of provided through its sister company, Lotek Marine Engineering of Newmarket, Ontario.

Lotek was one of the first companies to be granted EDGE (Economic Diversification and Growth Enterprises) status after being passed in the House of Assembly in December of 1995. Media representatives are invited to participate in the tour.
