NOTE TO EDITORS:

Government Service Centre to open today in Corner Brook

Ernest McLean, Minister of Government Services and Lands, will officially open the Corner Brook office of the Government Service Centre today (April 25). A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the centre which is located in the Noton Building on Riverside Drive.

The Government Service Centre is a one stop delivery service to enable the public and the business community to deal with only one department when applying for permits, licences, certificates and Crown land approvals. The Government Service Centre, which began operations in 1995, is also designed to eliminate barriers to business development.
