Resource road contract in Cartwright/L'Anse au Clair District
Beaton Tulk, Minister of Forest Resources and Agrifoods, is pleased to announce the award of a contract for surfacing a forest access road in the vicinity of Cartwright on the Labrador coast.
A $37,443.75 contract was awarded to JJ's Trucking Ltd. of Goose Bay.
"The work entails surfacing 2.5 kilometres of the Cartwright Resource Road," said the minister. "Contractors, are required to comply with environmental protection specifications in order to minimize the detrimental effects of road construction."
