Extended hours and drop-off service for big game licence holders

Beaton Tulk, Minister responsible for wildlife resources, would like to advise the public of additional services to be made available to big game licence holders regarding the submission of payment for their big game licence. In consideration of the fact that the Hunting Guide was delayed this year, government offices have cooperated to provide the following additional services to the public.

For July 15, 16, 17, and 18, the Central Cash office located on the third floor of the East Block of Confederation Building will be open between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. That allows an extra hour past the regular summer closing hours.

As well, the five main Government Services offices located in St. John's, Clarenville, Gander, Corner Brook and Goose Bay will have a "Drop-Off" box available to the public from Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19.

"I would encourage all big game licence holders to send in their payment immediately upon receipt of their notice," said the minister. "This cooperation is necessary to ensure that everyone will have their licence in time for the opening of the hunting season."
