Contract awarded in Cartwright-L'Anse au Clair Beaton Tulk, Minister of Forest Resources and Agrifoods, announced today the allocation of $11,000 for reforestation work on the Department of National Defence Access Road. "This project represents government's continued investment into the forest resource of Labrador," commented the minister. "Consistent management is required to ensure the future of the resource." Carter's Electrical of Botwood will commence work in early July 1996. The project will employ approximately six people until early September 1996.
