Tercan Holdings Inc. of Campbellton was awarded the contract for tree seedling planting to replant cleared sites with the objective of maintaining tree species composition and protecting the forest land base in the Exploits Bay area. Mr. Tulk says the project will employ 25 people for about nine weeks. Work is expected to get under way May 13, 1996. "Three hundred hectares will be planted with black spruce, white spruce and red pine seedlings," said the minister.
