NOTE TO EDITORS:

On Thursday, December 19, at 9:00 a.m., Julie Bettney, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will be presenting four charitable donations on behalf of provincial government employees. Presentations will be made to Iris Kirby House, the Community Food Sharing Association, the Spina Bifida Association, and the Canadian Mental Health Association. These will be the final donations made from the 1996 proceeds of the volunteer recycling program of employees in the St. John's area. The location is Conference Room B, West Block, Confederation Building. Representatives from each of the four organizations and the Interdepartmental Recycling Committee of the Provincial Government will be in attendance.
