NOTE TO EDITORS:
Premier Brian Tobin will sign a partnership agreement with Councillor Margaret Farquar, Lord Provost of Aberdeen City Council, on Friday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. in the Premier's Boardroom, 8th Floor, East Block, Confederation Building. The partnership agreement is in support of a joint bid between Newfoundland and Labrador and the North East of Scotland to host Softworld, an international information technology conference, in St. John's in 1998.
Councillor Farquar is leading a four-member delegation from Aberdeen on a two-day visit to St. John's.
