(Executive Council)

NOTE TO EDITORS:

On Monday, October 21, His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, The Honourable Frederick W. Russell, and Mrs. Russell, will attend Remembrance Assemblies at Holy Redeemer School, Spaniards Bay, at 10 a.m. and at Davis Elementary, Carbonear, at 1:30 p.m.

Their Honours' attendance at these assemblies will mark the inauguration of a province-wide Memorial Wall Project, sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion. This project, which has been undertaken in a number of Newfoundland schools, is one where the students provide a picture and a brief history of a relative who is a veteran. The photo and history along with other remembrance items are displayed in the school in conjunction with Remembrance Day activities.

His Honour and Mrs. Russell will address the students in both schools.

In addition to Their Honours, local dignitaries and members of the Royal Canadian Legion will attend the assemblies.
