NOTE TO EDITORS:

Lieutenant-Governor to present Long Service Medals, Exemplary Service Medals and Commission Scrolls, March 27

On Wednesday, March 27, at 3 p.m., His Honour the Lieutenant- Governor, the Honourable Frederick W. Russell, will present Long Service Medals, Exemplary Service Medals and Commission Scrolls to members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, Corrections Service and St. John's Regional Fire Services at a ceremony at Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Headquarters.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Long Service Medal is awarded for 25 years of service and good conduct.

The Exemplary Service Medals are awarded to members of police forces, fire services and corrections service who have completed 20 years of exemplary service.
